The lace of Burano was renowned in all Europe. Louis XIV used to order the cuffs and collars of his clothes from this little island.

In the main street, you will find a lace-shop, a restaurant, two lace-shops, a restaurant...a.s.o.
As you might have understood, the commercial street is only interesting insofar as it draws as many visistors as possible.
